Mats Zuccarello sounds off on the Rangers for disrespecting Lundqvist

Mats Zuccarello thinks Henrik Lundqvist is one of the best teammates he's ever had, and he's pissed of at his former team on how they are handling the veteran goaltender's playing time.

Zuccarello spoke to the media and had this to say about Lundqvist's treatment in the Big Apple:
It's disrespectful, he is getting older, yes, and they have another good keeper, but then they could let him play the games (Igor) Shesterkin doesn't play. It is absolutely haunting that he is treated that way. Did anyone ever think that this was going to happen to Henrik Lundqvist? None.
The Rangers have three goalies in the mix, including 24-year-old Alexandar Georgiev, who played the majority of games when Shesterkin was injured. Lundqvist has started just four of a possible 29 contests since the Rangers recalled Shesterkin.

Zuccarello is pissed, because he was basically dealt the same cards from the Rangers:
I never thought it would happen to me, either. In my eyes, I was about to end my career with the Rangers. I thought Hank would, too. Everything was going to be fine and great, and then the management decided (something else) and then you are not worth a damn.
Lundqvist is due $8.5 million next season, and there's a very good chance the Rangers buy him out before the season begins.
