Report: These four cities could be hosting the NHL's comeback

Gary Bettman dropped some knowledge on Wednesday night, as the NHL commissioner met with Ron MacLean of Sportsnet and cleared the air on the NHL's return. With July in mind, the league is finalizing a potential 'four-city' return, where each city places host to 3 games a day, everyday, for several weeks until the regular season is complete.

Frank Seravalli of TSN reported on his favorites to play host, and we must say, these cities make a ton of sense.

The four cities deemed as favorites were Edmonton, Toronto, Pittsburgh and Dallas.

The league has to line up a number of cities, in case anything changes last minute related to the health and safety of the city. All of these cities mentioned have hotels close by, practice rinks accessible, and the dressing rooms needed to house numerous teams required for the 'tournament' style set up.

Other teams also being considered as hosts include the Hurricanes, Wild, Coyotes and Blue Jackets.
