Rasmus Ristolainen expects to be traded from Buffalo

While Jack Eichel has been busy venting his frustration over the lack of success in Buffalo, it appears one of his teammates has a pretty good understanding of where he stands. For Rasmus Ristolainen, it's on the outside looking in, if you ask him.

This is the second year in a row Ristolainen has been likely to be moved. There were reports surfacing last off-season that he informed Buffalo management he's 'open to being traded'.

The Sabres are now open for business as non-playoff teams can make trades with other non-playoff teams. It's unlikely for a name like Ristolainen to get moved during this 'open season', as Buffalo would love to hear offers from all teams before they pull the trigger on one of their best defenseman. An offer from any of the non-playoff teams would have to blow Buffalo's socks off.

Expect major changes in Buffalo before the puck drops next season. Jack Eichel isn't going anywhere, but his teammates, on the other hand, are likely to look a little different come opening night.
