Canucks’ Chris Tanev Speaks Out On "Irresponsible" Jake Virtanen

Vancouver Canucks' veteran player, Chris Tanev has discussed his feelings regarding his teammates' irresponsible actions and the hub cities for the 2020 NHL Playoffs.

Tanev, shared his opinion on teammate Jake Virtanen. Virtanen has been criticized after a video appeared on social media of him at a night club without a mask and not social distancing.
"I think he knows he made a little bit of a mistake. It's a tough situation when you're not technically in quarantine and you're allowed to go out."
Despite this, Tanev is pleased with the NHL's selection of Edmonton and Toronto as the hub cities for the playoffs. He believes that the quarantine 'bubble' will be a safe environment, but players and coaches should expect a learning curve at first. He stated that if all players follow the rules of the bubble, everyone should be safe.
"I think it was a smart decision. Both Places we're going to seem to have the virus contained to a certain extent."
