How did the Boston Bruins screw this up!?!?

The NHL draft is quite frankly, a craps shoot. Teams rely on their scouting departments who have spent countless hours in Junior or College rinks across the world. Scouts provide profiles and general managers listen in and make, what they feel, is the most educated decision possible. Every team has draft horror stories, and for the Boston Bruins, 2015 stands out immensely.

With massive trades before the draft including the likes of Milan Lucic and Dougie Hamilton, Boston set themselves up with 3 first-round-picks. Not only did the Bruins have 3 picks in the 1st round, they were back to back to back. The Bruins held picks 13,14 and 15 and unfortunately for the Bruins, they missed and missed badly.
Sorry Bruins fans, imagine having Thomas Chabot and Matthew Barzal in your lineup right now!? Every team missed on Sebastian Aho who slipped into the 2nd round, but Barzal and Chabot were projected to go in the top-15, so how did the Bruins miss!?

Considering the Bruins success without Chabot, Connor or Barzal in their lineup, it certainly feels like a dynasty could have been right on their fingertips.
