Penguins training camp hit with potential Covid outbreak

The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced they will be sidelining at least 9 players due to a potential Covid outbreak, where these players could have been in contact with someone who tested positive for the virus.

Monday is the opening day of official training camps across the league and it's expected some teams will have to deal with outbreaks as we go. The league and NHLPA have reiterated that just because there are outbreaks, doesn't mean the league will be shutting down. They will take it as it comes and continue as long as it's deemed safe.
