Bob McKenzie Will Retire Tonight After 40 Years As An NHL Insider

Bob McKenzie, otherwise known as "The Bobfather" has been working in the industry since graduating from the Journalism program at Ryerson University in 1979. After the second phase of the lottery, McKenzie will no longer be working at a full time pace. This truly marks the end of an era.

The hockey community has been showing their gratitude to McKenzie since he announced his semi retirement this morning.
"This isn't goodbye as much as it is, see you later."
His current contract with TSN expires in September, but he is renewing for another 5 years on different terms. He will still do draft rankings 3 times per year, cover the World Junior Championship, trade deadline day, and free agent frenzy.
