Nazem Kadri throws shade at the Toronto Maple Leafs

All Nazem Kadri did was win his first playoff series in the NHL and wouldn't you know, with one simple quote it's turned into some shade throwing at his former club. Kadri and the rest of his Avalanche teammates made short work of the Arizona Coyotes to move onto the second round. Kadri went on to comment about the win and what it felt like for him as a player.

I'm just fortunate and lucky to come into such a great dressing room with such great teammates and a great organization that just gave me a chance to be who I can be. They've believed in me since I stepped in the door. I'm just trying to not let them down.

When asked how it feels to move onto the second round, Kadri responded - 'that's a first for me'.
