Potential Teams Included On Marc-Andre Fleury's No-Trade List

Marc-Andre Fleury has submitted a list of 10 teams he does not want to be traded to, in accordance with the modified no-trade clause in his contract. His days as a Vegas Golden Knight are over; we know this. The real question is which teams are named on his of no-trade list?

This information is "classified" and this is purely speculative. Despite this, strong speculation may guide us to making an educated guess on the teams named on his no-trade list. All we know is that the list is comprised of 10 teams.

1. Pittsburgh Penguins
Why? Been there, done that. Why agree to return to the team who let you go for nothing? Plus, they're having a goalie fiasco of their own.

2. Toronto Maple Leafs
The Maple Leafs can not afford the likes of Fleury's $7 million cap hit. The Leafs are reportedly looking at dealing their own goaltender, but the media exposure has ended too many careers in this city.

3. Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings are basement dwellers. Fleury will turn 36 this season and if he wants to win another Stanley Cup, he will refuse to be a part of this historically awful team.

4. San Jose Sharks
This is a team who has a number of great assets, but their goaltending structure has failed them miserably. Perhaps a team that could use Fleury the most, but a team Fleury would likely stay away from.

5. Los Angeles Kings
Jonathan Quick is no longer the Stanley Cup caliber goaltender he once was. However, he still has 3 seasons left at $5.8 million. Regardless, they're an awful team with no likely chance of near future success.

6. Anaheim Ducks
John Gibson owns the net in Anaheim. Beyond that, the team stinks. Why bother?

7. New York Rangers
Would the Rangers be interested? Probably not. Henrik Lundqvist is already being forced out by a young and talented tandem. This is specifically the reason Fleury would not welcome a trade in the event the team released two goaltenders from their roster. He would not play the minutes he would like.

8. Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres do not have sound goaltending. Ironically, they haven't since Robin Lehner left the team. However, Fleury wants to play on a lively roster with a chance of winning. This won't happen in Buffalo.

9. Columbus Blue Jackets
Similar to the Rangers, the Blue Jackets have a Latvian problem. Meaning, they have two stellar Latvian goaltenders who are fighting for the starting position. Even if there was interest in Fleury, he wouldn't get the minutes he desires.

10. Nashville Predators
Pekka Rinne has aged and his NHL  days are numbered. Despite this, the organization is confident that Jusse Soros is their future. If Fleury were picked up by the Predators, he would likely not start for the team. A solid and consistent goaltender is what this team needs to progress deeper into the post-season.
