If Steven Stamkos is Traded, Here's One Blockbuster

The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup and what followed weeks after shocked the entire hockey world. Steven Stamkos' name arrived into the trade rumors, and everyone was trying to figure out the correct definition of 'untouchable'.

While a Stamkos trade isn't likely as the team has other options to cut salary, where there's smoke there's usually fire, and it's been confirmed that the Lightning talked to at least Vegas about a Stamkos trade.

Since then, the chatter has quieted down, but if the Lightning were to move their Captain, what would it look like? All the power sits with Stamkos, who holds a no-movement-clause, so there certainly is a touch of a guessing element to think of where Stamkos would agree to go.

Could this trade work for both Stamkos and the Lightning?

Steven Stamkos and Tyler Johnson to the Nashville Predators for wingers Viktor Arvidsson, Calle Jarnkrok defenseman Dante Fabbro, and draft picks.

This move would save the Lightning roughly $6 million, provide them with two capable forwards who are both under 30, on good contracts, and able to play in their top-six. Arvidsson has 35-goal capabilities, and not to mention Fabbro, who gives the Lightning a right-handed defenseman of the future, ahead of Erik Cernak and Luke Schenn.

The Preds cleared a bunch of money for Taylor Hall and got left at the alter. This money could easily be allocated to Stamkos. Ryan Johansen, Matt Duchene, and Stamkos would give the Predators maybe the best 1-2-3 in the league.

Would Steven Stamkos waive his no-move for a trip to music city?
