Buffalo Sabres Make Surprising Roster Move

The Buffalo Sabres are ready to start an exciting 2020-21 NHL season and by the looks of things they are also beginning quite the youth movement. The opening night roster has been announced and both top prospects Dylan Cozens and Jack Quinn have made the team.

Both players were recently on Team Canada's World Junior Team and showed up for training camp in playing shape.

Cozens was a 7th overall pick at the 2019. At the World Juniors he dominated with 16 points in seven games and last year with Lethbridge of the WHL, Cozens put up monster numbers with 85 points in 51 games. The 19-year-old is known as one of the best players outside of the NHL, and keep him on your fantasy roster radar if you're in a keeper league.

As for Quinn, who is also 19, is making the Sabres after being selected with the 8th overall pick at the recent 2020 draft. Quinn heads to the NHL via the Ottawa 67's where he dominated the OHL. Is 52 goals in 62 games good?

Look for both players to work their way up the lineup as they're the type of players that flourish in offensive roles playing with skilled players.
