Huge Update On Evander Kane Situation

As reported this week, Evander Kane and the San Jose Sharks are being sued by Centennial Bank for Kane's unpaid business loans. Kane subsequently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy after accumulating $26.8 million in debt. There is now an update on the situation.

In addition to Kane's financial issues, it was reported that he may sit out for the 2021 NHL season. He and his wife have been through serious hardship in relation to the health of his child. Head Coach of the San Jose Shark, Bob Boughner has stated that he is assured that Evander Kane will play the entire 2021 NHL season.

The hockey community should keep Kane's family in mind before deciding to criticize his lifestyle and choices. It can not be easy going through this public affair while being strong for your family in a time of need.
