Rasmus Dahlin Flips Kevin Rooney Head Over Heels

Rasmus Dahlin was drafted 1st overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. He has been somewhat quiet for a pick of the stature, but he's evolving into one of the smoothest skating defenceman in the league. Take a look at this beautiful hit he laid on Kevin Rooney.

Old school hip checks are becoming more and more rare in the league. Dahlin laid this hit perfectly and didn't 'cheat' by crouching too low and taking Rooney out by the knees. The fact Dahlin finished it off by standing up straight and dropping Rooney head over heels is the cherry on top.
