Several Teams Have Contacted The Boston Bruins About Acquiring Tuukka Rask

The Boston Bruins have been fielding calls regarding the services of goaltender Tuukka Rask. Rask has made it known that he wants to remain in Boston, but GM Don Sweeney may be given an offer he can't refuse.

The 33 year old goaltender received harsh criticism for his decision to leave the Toronto bubble during the 2020 playoffs. It turns out that he departed because his daughter experienced a medical emergency and was transported to the hospital in an ambulance. It's not "what have you done for me", it's "what have you done for me lately" attitude the fans maintain about Rask in Boston.

Don Sweeney has been taking calls on Rask, but it doesn't necessarily indicate that the Bruins are actively shopping him. The insider information provided by Pierre Lebrun does make you wonder if he may be traded in a situation where Boston is not in a favorable position in the standings.

Should Sweeney keep Rask in the fold or trade him for picks as a future investment?
