The Dallas Stars Could Be in Big Trouble

The Dallas Stars are already preparing to play the majority of this season without superstar, Tyler Seguin who is expected back in April, and now they have started training camp without two of their other key components - Joe Pavelski and Anton Khudobin.

With a condensed season with more back-to-backs than usual, having two capable goaltenders will be key for the Stars, so the team hopes they can figure out the paperwork before next week. With a lack of training camp and no preseason games, Stars fans are hoping Khudobin can jump right in and pick up where he left off last playoffs.

As for Pavelski, his first season in Dallas was a good one. He scored big goal after big goal in the playoffs with 13 snipes in 27 games. He only had 14 goals in 67 games during the regular season. Pavelski is due to see some more ice-time with no Tyler Seguin in the mix for the first several months so fantasy owners may want to keep Pavelski in your back pocket for those later rounds.

The Stars will be in tough to repeat their success from last season. If they are able to stay afloat in the new divisional set up, they will be getting quite the boost when Seguin returns late April. For now, they just need to worry about getting everyone they can on the ice for the first game.
