Vegas Golden Knights Name First Captain in Team History!
When the Vegas Golden Knights traded for Mark Stone back in early 2019, they knew they were getting a talent. Little did they know the talented Stone would turn into their first captain in team history as the Golden Knights made the official announcement on Wednesday!

The 28-year-old Stone is a coach's dream who plays hard each and every night and works his ass off on both sides of the puck. He's constantly near the league lead in takeaways and last season, his first full year in Vegas, Stone recorded 63 points in 65 games.
The Golden Knights are expecting another monster season from Stone and are relying on him to lead by example and more importantly, just be Mark Stone. That's good enough.
