Taylor Hall Admits Buffalo Has Been A Struggle For Him

Taylor Hall shocked the world when he accepted a one-year contract with the Buffalo Sabres. The team has got off to a bad start and it's been felt up and down their lineup. Hall recently spoke to the media after the Sabres were defeated 3-0 by the New York Islanders and admitted this season has been a struggle for him in Buffalo.

It’s been a struggle for me, personally. I feel like I’ve had some bad luck a bit. But at the same time, when you’re not scoring, you got to change something, you got to find whatever is in your game that’s not allowing you to put the puck in the net.

Right now, it’s been tough. I can’t lie to you. If I have four or five goals right now, you don’t really know what our season looks like, especially with how close the games we had and how much we’ve been in games right until the very end.

The Sabres are currently sitting in last place in the east division with a record of 4-6-2. Hall has recorded one goal and eight assists in 12 games. Last season he only managed 16 so is this type of production becoming the new normal for Hall?

The Sabres returned after a 14-day layoff due to COVID-19, so it will be interesting to see what Hall and the Sabres can do once they get back in the swing of playing games every other night. If things go completely sour for the Sabres, expect to see Hall's name jump up on some trade bait boards.
