Dallas Stars GM Provides Update on Tyler Seguin's Health

The Dallas Stars have played the entire season without superstar Tyler Seguin but it sounds like that could soon be changing as general manager Jim Nill mentioned on Monday that Seguin could be making his debut in a couple of weeks.

Nill said the Stars forward is set to begin skating with the taxi squad, which includes injured goalie Ben Bishop. The Stars have been hit with a number of injuries this season, which includes Bishop who also hasn't played a game this season after offseason knee surgery. For Seguin, he's been rehabbing his hip after surgery followed the Stars run to the Stanley Cup finals last season.

It's certainly strange timing for all of this as Dallas is likely going to miss the playoffs and when Seguin will be cleared to play, the team will only have a handful of games left. Is there really a point in coming back? Is it worth the risk for a 'meaningless' game?

Decisions, decisions for Seguin, Nill and the Dallas Stars.
