LA Kings Receiving Trade Offers on Forward

The Los Angeles Kings are one of the teams to watch before the trade deadline on Monday as general manager Rob Blake is open to a realm of possibilities. While he's admitted he's not interesting trading any of his core veterans, expect to see some depth pieces moved by the Kings. One player in particular to watch for is Alex Iafallo.

The 27-year-old pending unrestricted free-agent is generating a ton of interest and the Kings have received multiple offers for the left-winger. So far in 37 games this season, Iafallo is having a great season with 23 points. With a cap hit at only $2.45 million this season, many teams are able to fit in his contract for the remainder of the season. The Kings could also retain some salary, and receive a better package back in return.

The Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche are reportedly two teams very interested and have reached out to gauge the asking price from Blake. It's likely any deal fetches the Kings at least one second-round pick and a mid-level prospect.

Interesting times for Kings' fans as the team is doing a bit better than anticipated but still won't be adding anyone at the deadline.
