2 Florida Panthers Who Could Be Traded

The Florida Panthers put up a decent fight against the defending Stanley Cup champions but in the end came up short. They used three different starting goalies with their super-rookie Spencer Knight getting the bulk of the work. There's going to be some moves coming for the Panthers this offseason, expect management to be in on a lot of different names.

As far as their roster goes, here are 2 players the Panthers could trade this summer:

Keith Yandle: The iron-man has a full no-move clause but by the sounds of it will be open to a trade after being scratched at the worst possible time. Considering Yandle is still getting it done at 34, with two more seasons on his contract paying him just over $6 million, there's going to be some interest on the trade market. His 27 points in 56 games wasn't his best season but it's still productive and expect to see his name pop up in some trade talk this summer.

Sergei Bobrovsky: It's going to take a small miracle for the Panthers to get rid of 'Goalie Bob's' $10 million salary for the next five seasons, but that's why the NHL put in salary retention. Add in the fact the Seattle Kraken have their expansion draft coming up and you can expect to see the Panthers offering the Kraken some huge return if they take Bobrovsky off their hands. The team doesn't want to lose Chris Driedger to free-agency but with a crowded crease, unless a trade happens this summer, that's going to be the case.

The Panthers have just under $10 million in cap space this upcoming summer so it's going to be the trade route they take to improve their hockey club. A couple of big names will be available from their roster it's just going to take some serious convincing and a couple of sweeteners to execute a deal. We'll see how much the Panthers are willing to pay, it's going to be an interesting summer in the sunshine state.
