Video: Sabres Goaltender Hurt Trying to Make a Save on Taylor Hall

The Buffalo Sabres can't seem to get away from Taylor Hall, even after a trade to the Boston Bruins. The two teams played on Saturday night and Sabres netminder Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was injured trying to make a save on a Hall one-timer in the dying seconds of the second period.

Luukkonen is on a emergency call up for the Sabres after a series of injuries and sure enough this happens. The 22-year-old is a former 2nd-round pick and is likely to be the backup to Linus Ullmark full time next season.

So far in four games this season Luukkonen hasn't faired too well, posting a 3.88GAA and a .906 save %. However he's shown in the past on the international stage and in the minors he's more than capable of stopping rubber so the future looks bright.

Let's hope Luukkonen recovers from this injury and comes back stronger:
