2 Colorado Avalanche Who Could Be Dealt This Summer

The Colorado Avalanche are fresh off their elimination out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to the hands of the Vegas Golden Knights and this offseason is setting itself up to be a busy one for Avs' general manager Joe Sakic. The team has Gabriel Landeskog and Philipp Grubauer who are both free-agents and expect to see a couple trades from the team as well.

2 Avalanche Players Who Could Be Dealt:

Nazem Kadri: Well, duh. Kadri has once again hurt his team in the playoffs and had to sit in the press box while his teammates battled their asses off. This is the third time Kadri was suspended from a Stanley Cup run and Sakic and company aren't going to let it slide. Expect to see Kadri's name in many trade rumors this offseason as there's interest in the pesky/borderline dirty center. He has one season left at $4.5 million.

Joonas Donskoi: The 29-year-old has two years left on his current deal, making $3.9 million per season and because of the Avalanche having some free-agents to sign, Sakic would love to move Donskoi off the books. In his second season in Colorado after four in San Jose with the Sharks, the speedy winger scored 17 goals and added 14 assists for 31 points in 51 games and was a +14 rating. He's played in 69 career playoff games and teams will see this as appealing this offseason. It's likely he's moved for a young player and a mid-level draft pick this summer.

Joe Sakic has some big decisions to make and the Avalanche fanbase should have all the trust in the world in their general manager. He's one of the best in the business and continues to make moves that seem to fleece other teams. Let's see if it's the same ol' story for Sakic this summer.
