One Reason the Boston Bruins Trade Jake DeBrusk

The Boston Bruins have some of the best chemistry of any team in the NHL but unfortunately that hasn't been the case for head coach Bruce Cassidy and forward Jake DeBrusk. A healthy scratch in the playoffs it was tough for DeBrusk to slide down the depth chart once Taylor Hall arrived. Turns out if Hall signs in Boston long term, it could spell the end for DeBrusk as a Bruin.

It's been known Cassidy and DeBrusk have held on to a shaky relationship and there's certainly a need there to get on the same page. Although it's starting to sound like a trade is inevitable. This season the former first-round pick scored five times and recorded 14 points in 51 games. After a 27 goal season in 2018-19 it's been a grind for the 24-year-old to consistently find the back of the net.

Being young and having some more room to grow and develop should make the Bruins job easy as the offers will come pouring in for the power forward. Look for the Edmonton Oilers, Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings to have the most interest and once Hall figures out what he's doing, DeBrusk should know more about his future.
