2 Free Agent Targets for Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs are going to lose some key players by the sounds of it this summer and general manager Kyle Dubas will head to the open market to check in on some affordable free agents. The team will need some help at left-wing and could have a couple of names in mind.

2 Free Agent Targets for the Maple Leafs

Mikael Granlund: Remember when Jonathan Bernier was rumored to be going to Toronto for over three years? That's what it feels like with Granlund. Anyone you ask around Toronto thinks he's signing there after a failed attempt last offseason. Granlund spent last season with the Nashville Predators and the versatile forward recorded 27 points in 51 games. If his contract doesn't increase too much from his $3.75 million from last season, the Leafs can easily afford him under their cap.

Blake Coleman: It's all going to come down to dollars for Coleman who only made $1.7 million last season and after another championship season in Tampa Bay will be in line for a hefty raise. His 31 points in 55 games was on par for the course for Coleman and he's one of the best forecheckers in the league. He could be a great replacement for Zach Hyman for the Maple Leafs.
