Insider Lists Four Teams Linked to Ryan Getzlaf

Ryan Getzlaf is a free agent in the NHL for the very first time and he's excited to see how the process unfolds on Wednesday. The long-time Anaheim Ducks captain is expected to hear from as many as 10 teams, and Pierre LeBrun of TSN mentioned on Tuesday afternoon, four teams should be considered favorites.

Some interesting options for sure. Closer to his roots in Edmonton? Joe Pavelski 2.0 in Dallas? Center Taylor Hall in Boston? Or join Corey Perry in Montreal?

Last season the 36-year-old scored five times, recorded 17 points in 48 games, while making $8.25 million. It's likely his new deal is somewhere in the ballpark of $3 million, and on a one-year term.
