2 Potential Destinations for Zach Parise

Zach Parise hasn't signed a contract yet, even though there's overwhelming speculation he has one ready to go with the New York Islanders. Should the Islanders not finalize the deal, there's a couple of other teams who would welcome Parise with open arms.

2 Potential Destinations

Carolina Hurricanes: The Hurricanes offense took a hit with defenseman Dougie Hamilton making his way to New Jersey, and the team has been trying to find a scoring winger to help burden the load. Parise could fit nicely in Carolina's top-9 forward group and some people seem to forget he's only two years removed from scoring 25 goals in 69 games. If the Islanders back out last minute, look for Carolina to pounce.

New Jersey Devils: The Devils added Tomas Tatar and some feel it's taken them out of the Parise sweepstakes but that's not the case at all. The team has a ton of cap space still available and could use some help up front to mentor their young core. Parise's time in New Jersey meant a lot to him and he's still rooted in the community. Expect to see the Devils in contention for a one-year contract for the veteran forward.
