Chicago Blackhawks Make The Wrong Kind NHL History

The Chicago Blackhawks made a number of changes this offseason and expectations were extremely high to kick off the 2021-22 season. Turns out the team has struggled and struggled bad and after their loss to the Detroit Red Wings, have made the worst kind of NHL history.

The Blackhawks have yet to lead this season. Yes, in six games they have yet to have more goals on the board than the other team. Just the worst kind of NHL history you can make and considering the outlook of this team and the fact they have a Vezina trophy winning goaltender in the crease, hard to comprehend.

Chicago has been outscored 27-12 and sit dead last in the league because of points percentage. The likes of Seth Jones, Marc-Andre Fleury and others including Jonathan Toews are struggling and struggling bad.

One team who doesn't mind this news, the Columbus Blue Jackets. They now own the Blackhawks first-round pick via the Seth Jones trade. From bad to worse for the Blackhawks and let's see if they can turn their season around in the Windy City.
