NHL Player Safety Fines Radek Faksa For Slash On Tim Stützle

NHL Player Safety has fined Dallas Stars forward Radek Faksa $5,000 for his slash on Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stützle. With this, Faksa will not receive a suspension.
The play occurred in Sunday night's contest between the two teams. After a faceoff, Faksa and Stützle were tangled up fighting for position. Faksa would then slash Stützle with a lot of force. The latter left the ice in clear pain, but thankfully, the results from his X-ray showed that he is fine. He is expected to play for Ottawa in their next game against the San Jose Sharks Thursday night.

Do you feel that Faksa received the correct punishment for his slash? Should he have been suspended? Let us know in the comments!
