Trade Rumor: New York Rangers Set Asking Price for Vitali Kravtsov Deal

The New York Rangers are frustrated with Vitali Kravtsov as the team wants the young forward to rejoin the team and reconsidering his trade demands. Sounds like he's not interested and now the Rangers have set the price to other teams to make a deal.

According to Jeff Marek of Sportsnet, the Rangers are only willing to trade Kravtsov if they receive a top prospect in return. The Russian forward was a 9th overall selection of the Rangers back at the 2018 draft and is considered one of the brightest prospects in the game.

The Rangers apparently don't care if it's a goalie, defenseman, winger or center, they just want some young talent in return in the deal. Given they have a number of young defensemen, and two young solid goaltenders, it's likely they would prefer a forward but we'll have to see what deal goes down.

Keep an eye on the Ottawa Senators, there's been rumblings they have a serious amount of interest is swapping prospect Erik Brannstrom, along with the Vegas Golden Knights who are searching for some more offense.

As many as 20 teams have called the Rangers with different levels of interest, as Kravtsov is a talented kid who will eventually make an impact in the NHL. In 20 career games, he's put up four points, however the future is still very very bright. Apparently too bright for Broadway.
