Video: Detroit Red Wings Prospect Scores Yet Again

Lucas Raymond is going to be a fun player to watch this season. The 19-year-old forward scored another beauty last night, as he sniped on future Hall of Fame goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. He also had an assist in the game.
Raymond possesses a high amount of potential. It's exactly why the Red Wings drafted him fourth overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. With Frolunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League last season, he scored six goals and recorded 18 points.

However, it now seems like he is a lock to make the NHL roster with how well he's played during the preseason. Furthermore, with Jakub Vrana out for at least the next four months, it should allow Raymond to receive more chances and overall playing time.

It will be interesting to see how the kid plays this year. If he keeps scoring goals like that, he will become a fan favorite in Detroit very quickly.
