Video: T.J. Oshie Records Hat Trick Against Senators

After being held off the scoresheet for four straight games, T.J. Oshie would make up for that Monday night against the Ottawa Senators. The 34-year-old winger recorded a hat trick, which was a major reason for the Capitals winning the game by a 7-5 final score.

Oshie was on absolute fire throughout the game. This is exactly what they need from him this season, as he is one of their top forwards. What also was so impressive about his hat trick was that every single goal was nice. Furthermore, it wasn't completed with an empty net, but rather a sweet wraparound.

Perhaps this game will lead to the beginning of hot streak for Oshie. The Capitals are already off to a fantastic start this season, as they sport a 4-0-2 record. If Oshie begins to dominate like this more regularly, the Capitals will be even harder to beat.

One other to note - Oshie wasn't the only player to score a hat trick in the game. Drake Batherson also recorded one for the Senators.
