Bob Murray Resigns From Anaheim Ducks

On Tuesday, the Anaheim Ducks placed Bob Murray on administrative leave for improper professional misconduct. Now, he has resigned from his Executive Vice President and General Manager positions and is entering an alcohol abuse program.
Following the allegations made against him, the Ducks immediately hired Sheppard Mullin to conduct an investigation. Murray was accused of creating a toxic work environment for not only Anaheim players, but also coaches and personnel. Furthermore, he was also accused of throwing numerous temper tantrums and using intimidation tactics specifically.
When Murray was originally placed on leave, it seemed likely that his time with the team was coming to a close. With it now being official, Jeff Solomon will be taking over as the team's interim General Manager, which was originally announced yesterday. The Ducks are also now beginning a search for their next GM, too.

Lastly, Murray released a statement where he apologized for his behavior and promises to make changes.
