Connor McDavid Records 600th Career Point

In just his 421st NHL game Sunday night, Connor McDavid recorded his 600th career point. The superstar center buried a nice feed from Zach Hyman past St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington.

With this, McDavid became the sixth-fastest player to hit 600 career points in NHL history. The other players who did it faster than him were Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Peter Stastny, Mike Bossy and Jari Kurri.

This also wouldn't be his only point of the contest, either. He later assisted on Leon Draisaitl's 15th goal of this short season.

It's absolutely crazy to think that McDavid is only in the beginning of his seventh NHL season and is still just 24 years old. Us hockey fans have so much time left during his prime and it'll be fantastic to see all he accomplishes from here.

Nonetheless, congrats on 600 points, Connor! Who knows? Maybe he'll hit 700 by season's end. Keep in mind, he did have 105 points in just 56 games last season.
