Video: Adam Gaudette Scores First Goal With Senators

Adam Gaudette made his debut for the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night against the Vancouver Canucks. He certainly left a fantastic first impression, as he scored after receiving a great feed from teammate Connor Brown.

Gaudette was placed on waivers by the Chicago Blackhawks over the weekend and the Senators were the lucky team to claim him. It's been a hard year for the 25-year-old, as he found himself out of Chicago's lineup often. In eight games with them, he had a goal and an assist.

Yet, now with Ottawa, he has the opportunity for a fresh start and he started that off well with this nice goal. Keep in mind, he's a forward who did record 33 points in 59 games during the 2019-20 with the Canucks. Perhaps he has the potential to put up numbers like these again. It also must have felt very good for him to score against his former team.
