NHL Rumors: Flyers Interested In Young Forward

According to Frank Seravalli, the Philadelphia Flyers have expressed interest in Arizona Coyotes forward Lawson Crouse.

This comes just a few short hours after we reported that the Flyers could be a potential landing spot for Crouse. It isn't surprising in the slightest that Philadelphia would express interest in him. His physical style of play matches their style, and they could use more help on the wing. This is especially the case when noting that the Flyers are aiming to get back into the postseason.

It will be interesting to see if the Flyers end up landing Crouse. He's having the best season of his young career thus far, as he has eight goals and 15 points in 30 games. He could be such a solid addition to their bottom six and give them some extra grit. Keep in mind, he already has 77 hits this season.

Time will tell if Crouse will land in Philadelphia, but it seems inevitable that a trade involving him will occur shortly - no matter where he ends up. His trade value is at its highest, so the Coyotes should take advantage of that during their rebuild.
