Video: Canucks' Motte Scores Between-The-Legs Goal

Tyler Motte isn't known for being a flashy player, but that may change. In Thursday night's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the 26-year-old scored a between-the-legs goal by roofing it past Andrei Vasilevskiy.

Motte has been a very reliable part of Vancouver's bottom-six forward group yet again this season. He's also done a decent job with providing depth scoring, as he now has four goals and three assists in 21 games. Yet, it's clear that no goal was as cool as this beautiful one.

If Motte continues to play this well moving forward, he could get a pretty nice contract this summer as an unrestricted free agent. That's especially the case if he can score more fancy goals like this one.

Yet, the Canucks would end up losing to the Lightning by a 4-2 final score. With this, they now have a 16-17-3 record, while the Lightning have improved to 25-9-5.

Although this loss is a hard one for a Vancouver team looking to get back into the playoffs, Motte's goal was still so sick.
