Video: Matt Martin And Liam O'Brien Have A Long, Tiring Fight

Fans of the New York Islanders and Arizona Coyotes have not had much to cheer about this season.  The Islanders have been decimated by injuries while the Coyotes simply just aren't that good of a team, but somebody had to win when the two teams faced off on Friday night at UBS Arena in New York.  The Islanders scored early and were heading into the first intermission with a two-goal lead thanks to tallies from defenceman Scott Mayfield and center Austin Czarnik.  With under two minutes to go in the first period, Coyotes' tough guy Liam O'Brien decided to drop the mitts with Islanders veteran Matt Martin in a long and exhausting tilt:

Both players looked like they need a nap after that fight, and an argument could be made that the whole  Coyotes team fell asleep the rest of the game, getting shutout 4-0 in an uninspired loss.  This was O'Brien's 9th time getting into a fight this season according to HockeyFights.com, while for Martin, this was just the 4th time this season he has received a 5-minute major for fighting.

The Islanders host Martin's former team, the Leafs, tonight while the Coyotes are staying in the New York area as they are visiting the Rangers tonight at Madison Square Garden.
