Canadiens Josh Anderson "Embarrassed" After Latest Blowout

It's going bad to worse in Montreal as the Canadiens continue to grind through a disappointing season. Their latest loss was their seventh in a row and it was an ugly one, as the welcomed the New Jersey Devils to town and got pumped 7-1. After the game there wasn't much positive said about their performance and forward Josh Anderson went as far as saying he's embarrassed.

Anderson, who is in his second season in Montreal had this to say after the blowout:

I mean we got embarrassed out there tonight. We had a couple of mistakes that cost us goals. You'd think that after the break that you'd be refreshed and ready to go ... I feel embarrassed, to be honest with you. We better be ready to go next game. We just gotta get out of this funk. We got a lot of hockey games together and it is not fun losing right now. It's not fun coming to the rink. We have to set our mindset right, right now and just regroup, to be honest with you. We gotta make hockey fun again and just refresh

The Canadiens have been outscored 33-12 in their last five games and have two wins in the last 22 games. The Devils ended their seven game losing streak, and as for Montreal, they sit dead last in the league with a 8-30-7 record. They own the worst goal differential in the league at -79. Here's the ugliness from Tuesday night:
