Hurricanes Provide Update On Teuvo Teravainen

Carolina Hurricanes forward Teuvo Teravainen is still dealing with his lower-body injury and is currently deemed as questionable for Monday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Hurricanes were hoping that the All-Star break would help Teravainen completely recover from his injury, but at this juncture, it is still causing him some problems. He hasn't played since January 27th's game against the Ottawa Senators, so naturally, the Hurricanes are hoping that he can play again. This is especially true when noting that Jesperi Kotkaniemi also is currently in COVID protocol.

Overall, it's been another very good season for Teravainen. In 39 games this season, he has 11 goals, 21 assists, and a plus-16 rating. He is once again an important top-six forward in their lineup again, so Carolina also looks even scarier when he's healthy.

Here's to hoping Teravainen feels a little better and can suit up for their game against the Leafs. Toronto isn't an easy team to go up against, as they have a 29-10-3 record. The Hurricanes, on the other hand, sport a 31-9-2 record.
