NHL Rumors: Ducks Forward Gaining Trade Interest

According to Jeff Marek, Anaheim Ducks forward Max Comtois is starting to get attention from other teams around the NHL.

Just last season, Comtois was the Ducks' leading scorer when he recorded 33 points in 55 games. However, he has taken a notable step backward this season, as he has just two goals and four assists in 31 contests. With that, he has been a healthy scratch on numerous occasions, so it may be best for both parties to move forward.

Comtois showed last season that he has the potential to be a legitimate top-six forward, so he certainly could bounce back from here. Yet, he also hasn't been given too many chances to with the Ducks as of late, as he played just three games in February.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Comtois from here. It's clear that the 6-foot-2 winger could benefit from a change of scenery, so let's see if he gets just that by the deadline.
