Boston Bruins Making Changes Ahead of Game 3

The Boston Bruins have been run out of the building all season long by the Carolina Hurricanes and it's been much of the same story during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Bruins have decided to make some changes as the series shifts back to Bean Town, look for goaltender Jeremy Swayman to be between the pipes for the B's in Game 3.

Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed the news during Thursday's morning and has decided Linus Ullmark needs to be replaced. Ullmark has started the first two games of their first-round series against the Hurricanes and has allowed eight goals on 57 shots.

This isn't really anything new for the Bruins as they've gone back and forth in their crease throughout the season. Ullmark and Swayman are great friends off the ice and it certainly shows with their chemistry amongst the team. As for production, Swayman finished the season with a .914 save %, meanwhile Ullmark recorded a .917 save %.

Game 3 goes Saturday as the Bruins will look to get off to a good start. They've been outscored 10-3 so far in the series and appear to be overmatched facing the pesky Hurricanes.
