Golden Knights Sign Top Prospect

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed Brendan Brisson to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Brisson recently signed a professional tryout contract with their AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights. With Henderson, he certainly played well, as he had three goals and five helpers in just seven games. This is exactly what Vegas want to see from their 2020 first-round pick moving forward.

This ELC contract marks the end of Brisson's time with the University of Michigan. He put together a great two-year run with the school, as he had 31 goals and 32 assists in 62 games. The potential to be an effective scorer at the NHL level is there. It will be intriguing to see if he can make the jump to the NHL at the start of the 2022-23 campaign.

Nevertheless, it wouldn't hurt the Golden Knights to give some of their prospects a chance moving forward. This is especially true after seeing them miss the playoffs this year.
