NHL Rumors: Bruins Forward Likely Done In Boston

While speaking with reporters, Anton Blidh expressed frustration about constantly being healthy scratched by the Boston Bruins during the later stages of the season. With that, he noted that he sometimes would have preferred to be in the AHL to have the chance to actually play. With Blidh set to become an unrestricted free agent, it seems his time as a Bruin could be coming to a close after these comments.

In March and April combined, Blidh appeared in just four games. With that, the team did not dress him in a single game during the postseason. This was a little surprising to see, as Blidh was having the best season of his career. In 32 games, he scored two goals and added seven assists. Although he wasn't dominant, he did show signs of being a solid fourth-line forward.

Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see what happens with Blidh from here, but him staying in Boston would be a bit shocking.
