NHL Rumors: John Tortorella To Flyers Heating Up

The Philadelphia Flyers are on the hunt for their next head coach and have already interviewed a very notable candidate. According to Kevin Weekes, John Tortorella has spoken with the Flyers over the vacant position.

Tortorella certainly has a lengthy resume as a head coach in the NHL. He has held the role with the Rangers, Lightning, Canucks, and Blue Jackets. In 1,383 games behind the bench, he has a 673-541-37-132 record. With that, he has two Jack Adams Awards and a Stanley Cup on his resume.

Seeing Tortorella in Philly would be very interesting to say the least. The Flyers are considering all of their options, but if Torts end up being their guy, hockey fans will pay much more attention to the struggling Flyers in 2022-23.
