Video: Crazy Fight During Maple Leafs & Lightning Series Opener

Everyone in Toronto were overusing the buzz words 'Borderline Violent' after Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe provided us all with the perfect foreshadow. Violent it was indeed as Game 1 of their Stanley Cup Playoff matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning turned out to be a tone setter to say the least.

From Kyle Clifford getting kicked out for nasty checks from behind to Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly dropping the gloves for the first time in six seasons, Game 1 had a little bit of everything. Scrums/fights like this are expected come playoff time but it's sounding like this Maple Leafs/Lightning series could be taking the cake when it comes to wild and wacky.
