Avalanche Sign Forward

Although the Colorado Avalanche are in the Stanley Cup Final, they are already preparing for next season. The Avalanche have signed Lukas Sedlak to a one-year contract for next season.

Sedlak has three years of NHL experience on his resume but hasn't played in the sport's most competitive league since the 2018-19 season. In 162 career games with the Columbus Blue Jackets over that span, he had 15 goals to go along with 27 points. He will be hoping to build on these totals next year with the NHL squad.

Sedlak has spent the last three seasons with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL. He just put together his best year, too, as he had a solid 43 points in 49 contests. Thus, he is heading to Colorado while hot. Let's see if this move ends up working out for both parties.
