Flames Prospect Done In Calgary

The Calgary Flames have lost one of their prospects, as Johannes Kinnvall has signed a two-year contract with Brynas of the SHL.

Kinnvall just completed his first professional season in North America. The 24-year-old defenseman never landed a call-up with the Flames but instead played for the Stockton Heat. In 19 games with the AHL squad, he recorded eight assists and sported a minus-2 rating.

Kinnvall has had some solid seasons offensively in the SHL, so Brynas will be happy to have him on their roster. Nevertheless, here's to hoping Kinnvall has nothing but success back home in Sweden.
