Flames Prospect Heading To Finland

The Calgary Flames are losing some forward depth, as Eetu Tuulola has signed a deal with Ilves of the Finnish Elite League.

Tuulola was selected with the 156th overall pick of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He never appeared in an NHL game for the Flames but seemed to be a potential call-up option. He just put together a solid campaign for the Stockton Heat, as he had 14 goals and 25 points in 61 games.

Tuulola will now be testing his luck back home in Finland. Here's to hoping that the 24-year-old winger has a lot of success with Ilves from here.
