Oilers Sign Forward To Extension

The Edmonton Oilers have signed Brad Malone to a two-year, two-way contract.

Malone has spent each of the last two seasons as captain of the Bakersfield Condors. With the AHL squad, he's been an immensely important piece, and the same was true this campaign. In 52 games, he scored 14 goals and recorded 39 points.

Malone will continue to be a solid call-up option for Edmonton when injuries inevitably occur. In eight games this season with the NHL squad, he scored a goal and added an assist.

Nevertheless, congrats to Brad on landing himself another contract.
