Sabres Re-Sign Veteran Goalie

Craig Anderson is not ready to retire, as the 41-year-old goaltender has signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract extension with the Sabres.

Anderson appeared in 31 games for Buffalo this season, where he had a 17-12-2 record, .897 SV%, and 3.12 GAA. Now, he has earned himself another year in the NHL and all fans should be happy to see that.

Anderson will continue to be a mentor for prospect goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. Overall, this looks like another solid, low-risk signing by the rebuilding Sabres.
